Loved our holiday clubs? Join us after school this September!

Hello,
With summer in full swing, have you started thinking about your childcare plans for September?
The children have been absolutely loving our holiday clubs this year — we think they may be our best yet! We have received such wonderful feedback from children and parents, with children telling us:
“I can’t wait to come again!” “This is the best club ever!” “I love how we can make whatever we like!”
But did you know that the creativity doesn’t have to end when the summer holidays do?
Creative Crafters After-School Club runs every Monday to Thursday during term time at Rhiwbina Memorial Hall.
Our club is open to children from all schools:
• Children attending Rhiwbina Primary School can be collected directly from school by our team.
• Children attending another school can be dropped off at Rhiwbina Memorial Hall by a parent or carer anytime from 3.45pm.
A typical afternoon at Creative Crafters
3.30pm–4.10pm: Light tea 4.15pm–5.00pm: Creative activity 5.00pm–5.30pm: Tidy-up, STEAM challenges and free play Collection is by 5.30pm.
After arriving, children are offered a varied light tea. Our menu changes daily and may include:
• Create-your-own pasta bowls • Wraps, sandwiches and filled bagels • Toast or crumpets with a choice of toppings • Beans on toast • Mini pizzas or pizza bagels • Jacket potatoes with simple fillings • Pitta pockets • Soup with bread • Snack plates with cheese, crackers, vegetables and fruit
Children are encouraged to make choices, help prepare their food and develop their independence. This is followed by a selection of yoghurt, jelly pots and fresh fruit.
Then we get crafting!
Each week has a different theme to inspire children’s imaginations. Children are encouraged to develop their own ideas rather than everyone making exactly the same thing.
Activities throughout the year include:
• Loose-parts and junk-modelling creations • Painting and canvas art • Clay and foam-clay projects • Tie-dye and fabric decorating • Jewellery and keyring making • Slime and bath-bomb making • Sewing and textile crafts • Printing, stencilling and collage • Seasonal and themed projects • Construction, invention and recycled-material challenges
We also provide a range of STEAM toys, construction activities and creative challenges throughout each session.
Prices
£15 per session — includes collection from Rhiwbina Primary School, a light tea and all activities.
£12.50 per session — for children being dropped off from another school, including a light tea and all activities.
