Creative Crafters Holiday Arts & STEAM Workshops

Ages 5–12 Years

School holidays are for creating!

Creative Crafters provides engaging Arts, Crafts and STEAM workshops for children aged 5–12 years.

Each workshop is designed to inspire creativity, curiosity and confidence through hands-on making, designing, building and experimenting. Children are introduced to a wide variety of creative techniques, materials and processes whilst developing their own ideas and creative interests.

From slime-making and bath bombs to canvas painting, foam clay modelling, jewellery design, tie-dye, sewing projects, mixed media art and seasonal creations, every workshop encourages children to explore, create and develop practical skills through guided activities and creative projects.

Our themed workshops combine elements of Art, Science, Technology, Engineering and Design (STEAM), providing exciting opportunities for children to learn through making, experimenting and problem-solving.

While workshops include demonstrations, guidance and support from experienced workshop leaders, children are encouraged to make choices, personalise projects and express their own creativity through their work.

Children leave each workshop with completed creations, new skills and a sense of pride in what they have achieved.

STEAM Inspired Learning

Our workshops combine creativity with elements of science, technology, engineering and design, encouraging curiosity, experimentation, innovation and problem-solving.

Freedom to Create

Every child is unique. Children are encouraged to make choices, personalise projects and develop their own ideas whilst learning new creative techniques.

Learning Through Making

Children learn best when they are actively involved. Our workshops provide opportunities to design, build, create, test and refine ideas through practical experiences.

Inclusive and Welcoming

We celebrate individuality and provide a supportive environment where every child can participate, create and succeed at their own pace.

Alongside our themed arts and crafts workshops, children have access to a variety of STEAM exploration activities designed to encourage creativity, collaboration and design thinking.

Activities may include:

• LEGO® building and engineering challenges

• Interactive marble run design and construction

• Construction blocks and creative architecture projects

• Den building and structural design challenges

• K'NEX and engineering activities

• Creative invention and problem-solving stations

• Design and build challenges

• Collaborative construction projects

These activities encourage children to experiment with ideas, explore different solutions and develop confidence in engineering, construction and creative thinking through hands-on experiences.

Supporting Every Child

Our workshops are designed to be accessible, inclusive and welcoming to all children.

Creative arts and STEAM activities naturally support a wide range of learning styles and strengths. Many children benefit from hands-on, practical learning opportunities that allow them to explore ideas, communicate creatively and build confidence through achievement.

Activities can be adapted to suit individual interests, abilities and developmental stages, allowing children to participate in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful to them.

We understand that some children may benefit from additional support, visual instructions, quieter working spaces, movement breaks or alternative ways to engage with activities. Our flexible approach allows children to participate at their own pace whilst still enjoying success and achievement.

Our aim is to create an environment where every child feels valued, respected, included and able to express themselves creatively.
